Anna holds a bachelor of science degree in Biomedical Sciences and a bachelor of arts degree in Professional & Applied Ethics, both from Western Michigan University, and sees her educational journey as evidence of the value of a liberal arts education.

Anna enjoys audiobooks, fine-tipped ink pens, sneaking nutritional relevance into her children’s food, and learning about what motivates people to do better and be better.

Failure Lab / Founder + CEO

A lifelong lover of storytelling, Jordan developed the Failure Lab Event concept during a 157.4 mile drive between Detroit and Grand Rapids in October of 2012. Since the first Failure Lab Event in May of 2013, more than 200 people have shared their stories. 

Jordan earned his bachelor of science in marketing from the State University of New York at Old Westbury, and a graduate certificate in Nonprofit Leadership from Grand Valley State University. Jordan brings to Failure Lab professional experience in higher education, community leadership program development, and over a decade of experience with the American Red Cross, ranging from AmeriCorps member to CEO. Jordan resides in Grand Rapids with his two children, and enjoys skiing, fishing, a good bahn mi sandwich, and a crisp haircut.
