2022 In Review

Gratitude & Reflections from 2022

New Year’s Day is a day of reflection, gratitude, & vision casting. At Failure Lab we have a TON to be grateful for - adaptation, new relationships, and doing work that is both impactful AND FUN. Here are a few of our top highlights from a year full of cool shit.

Live Events Are Back!

As an organization born as a storytelling event platform, the isolation of the COVID years struck our very heart. In October of 2022, we hosted our first FULL production event since 2019….and it was glorious. Even the Failure Lab team had forgotten how amazing the “live event energy” feels in real time.

New Training Programs Launched.

2022 was a year of curiosity & experimentation around how to package & deliver the foundational Failure Lab training concepts in ways that maximized impact for different needs, groups, & objectives. In 2022 we developed & tested targeted program offerings around: Emotional Intelligence, Psychological Safety, Organizational Scaling, & safe spaces for BIPOC communities.

Deepened Relationships

On the training side of Failure Lab, 2020 & 2021 were years of innovation & development - reimagining our offerings for a more fully virtual remote world. 2022 gave us the opportunity to revive historical relationships & nurture new ones. 2022 was the year of “weaning” ourselves out of survival mode and back into nurturing mode. While we will be forever grateful for the “forced innovation” of survival mode, damn, it felt good to ease back into nurturing & growth, and we can’t wait for more of it in 2023.

XO,
